It was a good bit of symbolism when the 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition was unveiled recently at the New York International Auto Show. After all, that's where its predecessor, the Datsun 240Z, was debuted some 50 years ago.
Driving enthusiasts in Bel Air, MD, wanting to experience this Nissan sports car for themselves won't have to wait too much longer.
Two Distinct Racing Looks
The 2020 Nissan 370Z will come in four trim levels, including Sport, Sport Touring, and 370Z NIMSO. The 50th Anniversary Edition was based on the 370Z Sport.
The primary visual difference is the paint scheme. The 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition harkens back to the paint scheme of the original BRE race car, and comes in two eye-catching variations: white with red accents, or silver with black accents.
It looks and feels every bit like the finely-tuned machine Baltimore drivers expect. As for the performance--it's worthy of a 50th anniversary.
The Heart of a Champion
The 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition is powered by the 3.7-liter V6 engine that Middle River drivers know and love. It produces 332 horsepower, with enough zip and agility to quench the thirst of even the most performance-hungry driver. A fine-tuned double-wishbone suspension, coupled with an independent multi-link rear suspension, means this racing-inspired sports car is as fun to drive as it ever was.
